Myrtle Beach Golf Course Beachwood

Nicely nestled between the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean and the gorgeous Intracoastal Waterway in the heart of North Myrtle Beach is Beachwood Golf Club. A favorite for many years among locals and visitors alike, the 1968 Gene Hamm championship design has proudly hosted some of the Carolina’s most prestigious golf events; the Carolina’s Open, the Carolina Senior PGA Championship and the Grand Strand amateur.

Winding its way through beautiful lakes, tall pines and magnificent floral displays in North Myrtle Beach, Beachwood Golf Club offers a fair test of golf for any player. Providing four sets of tees for golfers of all skill levels, the Championship Blue tees measure 6844 yards, the White tees measure 6347 yards, the Gold tees measure 5695 yards and the Ladies tees measure 4947 yards respectively. An added feature is the lighted practice facility that is open to the public and great for honing your golfing skills the night before a round.

Although not a very long golf course, water comes into play on twelve of the eighteen holes, careful club selection and direction control is quite critical on this Gene Hamm design. Bunkers have been strategically placed and await any errant shot off the tee or into the green.
