The Grand Strand hosts several notable events to attend

Myrtle Beach has long held a reputation for extraordinary hospitality and entertainment away from the golf course. In 2019, the bar will be set even higher with an incredible lineup of events.

The 58th Annual Canadian-American Days Festival will be hosted by the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce March 9-17. Thousands will leave the Great White North to come and enjoy a week of sandy beaches, world-class golf, and a number of events associated with the festival. Events include concerts, golf tournaments, discounts, and more.

On April 15, The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort will host the 25th Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Pro-Am, one of the preeminent pro-am tournaments worldwide. The event pairs a golf professional and a celebrity, along with amateur participants. All tournament proceeds benefit junior golf and children’s educational programs in South Carolina. Tickets go on sale Feb. 18 and this event sells out quickly, so don’t miss out on your chance to check out some amazing golf that helps an amazing cause.

North Myrtle Beach’s Mayfest on Main Festival will be held on Main Street on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The event brings 15,000 people together to celebrate the beginning of summer in Myrtle Beach. One hundred crafters will display goods, food vendors will serve up a variety of eats, children will be entertained with a kid’s area, and a stage will offer live music to the community.

In Little River, the World Famous Blue Crab Festival will take place May 18-19. Located at the historic Little River Waterfront, the festival is one of the largest in the Southeast. Enjoy fresh, local seafood, scenic views, live beach music, and many craft tables during the festival. It is truly one of the Grand Strand’s finest traditions.

And on June 6-9, Carolina Country Music Fest will rock the beach with an incredible party to kick off the start of summer. The 2019 lineup includes Alabama, Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and several additional country music acts. Ready to get a little wild on the beach? Then CCMF is for you!

2019 is going to be an incredible time here on the Grand Strand, both on and off the golf course. Make sure you’re a part of it!
