Play four of the North Strand’s best with this special Coastal Golfaway offer
What makes Coastal Golfaway such an excellent resource for booking golf vacations in Myrtle Beach is the sheer variety of different packages we offer. If you are looking for one heck of a deal that will maximize your golf time and minimize the hit to your wallet, be sure to give our Brunswick Plantation Package a look.
With this package, you and your group will play four rounds at four of the North Strand’s best facilities and spend three nights at the award-winning Brunswick Plantation, conveniently located near Calabash and Sunset Beach. At Brunswick Plantation, your group will enjoy the comfort of one of their spacious two-bedroom golf villas (sleeps four players) and receive access to all of the great amenities found at the resort, including several pools, Jacuzzis, tennis courts and a fitness center.
The four courses that are part of the deal are as follows:
Offering a 27-hole Scottish links-style facility with each nine a par 36, course designer Tom Jackson presents a combination of challenges at Aberdeen. Water hazards are a factor on 23 of 27 holes, and in keeping with the traditional links-style golfers also have to deal with a healthy dose of bunkers.
Meanwhile, River Hills is one of the more well-maintained, well-marked courses on the Strand. Jackson’s 18-hole layout twists and turns through forests and wooded terrain, begging risky players to cut corners to their advantage. And with four sets of tees to choose from, everyone is able to take part in the fun.
Next, recent renovations have been made to improve course conditions on all three of Brunswick Plantation’s nines – Azalea, Dogwood and Magnolia – designed by Willard Byrd and Clyde Johnston. The Azalea layout tests players off the tee with tough angles and the occasional forced carry. Dogwood is more open, offering plenty of tempting opportunities to cut corners and shorten doglegs. Magnolia is more open as well and not overly long, making it the perfect nine for those looking to shoot a personal best. For more information on the golf offered at Brunswick Plantation, see the package details.
Long Bay is one of the more difficult courses on the Strand, which should come as no surprise given it was designed by the extraordinary Jack Nicklaus. The layout epitomizes the beauty of the Lowcountry, with its forests of pines, dogwoods, maple trees and creeks running throughout.
